PecksMetalPicks was founded by Andrew Pecoraro in 2012. 

He knew from firsthand experience how difficult it could be to find new heavy bands and wanted to create a community that people could gather around to discover new music.  PecksMetalPicks started on Facebook simply recommending bands and posting new music videos. 

After hitting 10,000 likes on Facebook, Andrew took to Instagram to begin publishing detailed reviews of new releases.  Two years later, he began interviewing bands and became known for asking the questions that many die-hard fans had always wondered about.

Afterwards, he turned to Twitter to share his reviews even more widely and enjoyed the short, opinionated thoughts he could share regarding current events and other controversial topics in the music world.

The creation of the PecksMetalPicks website is the ultimate culmination of these efforts.  It is meant to be the center of all PecksMetalPicks content as well as a place for people to share new music, opinions, and ideas.
